Using subversion

We describe how to get the latest release or trunk revision from subversion for N-Mesh or ESCP.

Getting the latest release tree from subversion

  • If you've already checked out to $FOLDER then run:
svn up $FOLDER

Example:

svn up /home/dev/nmesh_release
  • If you haven't already checked out to $FOLDER then run:
svn co https://enterprise.whiteicecryptography.com/svn/$PROJECT/branches/$VERSION/release $FOLDER

where $PROJECT=nmesh or $PROJECT=escp_sdk, and where $VERSION is the release version you wish to checkout.

A list of versions can be found in the Subversion home page.

Example:

svn co https://enterprise.whiteicecryptography.com/svn/nmesh/branches/2.1/release /home/dev/nmesh_release

Getting the latest development trunk from subversion

  • If you've already checked out to $TRUNK then run:
svn up $TRUNK

Example:

svn up /home/dev/nmesh/trunk
  • If you haven't already checked out to $TRUNK then run:
svn co https://enterprise.whiteicecryptography.com/svn/$PROJECT/trunk $TRUNK

where $PROJECT=nmesh or $PROJECT=escp_sdk.

Example:

svn co https://enterprise.whiteicecryptography.com/svn/nmesh/trunk /home/dev/nmesh/trunk

Updating to a specific subversion trunk revision

$ cd $TRUNK
$ svn update
$ svn merge -r HEAD:$REV .

where $REV is the revision to update to.

A list of revisions can be found in the Subversion home page.
